Overview
NetApp and iDEKO partnered with Future Colossal to create a custom VR experience that energized their sales strategy and engaged Field Marketing Managers on the floor. The result was a multi-player mobile VR escape room—an interactive game that educated and entertained, showcasing the benefits of NetApp’s flash storage products to both existing and prospective customers.

How the Game Works
The experience brings one to six players into a connected virtual data storage network, where they must solve puzzles collaboratively. Designed for flexibility—whether on the sales floor, at a conference, in an office, or even a local pub—this multiplayer VR game breaks down the limitations of traditional one-on-one sales interactions, fostering teamwork and deeper engagement.
Packing the Experience
To support portability, we custom-built a fully self-contained sales kit that housed all game components in a secure, carry-on-sized case. The case itself was part of the experience—featuring laser effects, ambient lighting, a tablet-based narrator interface, dedicated WiFi, and rechargeable batteries for all devices—making it a ready-to-go, immersive setup for any location.​​​​​​​

The on-brand ambient lighting built into the case, combined with a futuristic tablet-based narrator, helped Field Marketing Managers set the tone and fully immerse users in the Escape to Flash experience. These sensory details transformed each setting—whether a conference floor or a casual venue—into a dynamic, tech-forward storytelling moment.
